Pat Cummins has been dropped from Australia’s limited-overs squad against Sri Lanka.

Likewise, Marcus Harris and Mark Steketee are also not part of any of the three squads. However, they will form a part of the Australia A squad.

Australia will be heading to Sri Lanka for a seven-week long tour in June-July.

The tour will include 3 T20s, 5 ODIs and 2 Tests.

The players who missed out on the limited-overs series against Pakistan will also be playing in this series as well.

All of Australia’s experienced players such as Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood, Glenn Maxwell, David Warner, Steve Smith and Matthew Wade are seeing a return.

Ben Mcdermott did not find a place in the squad although he did hit an ODI century against Pakistan last month.

Adam Zampa will not be featuring in the entire series due to the arrival of his first child.

This tour will also be Andrew McDonald’s first as Australia’s full-time head coach.

Australia A’s squad sees players like Sean Abbott, Scot Boland, Pete Handscomb, Jhye Richardson along with Tanveer Sangha and Aaron Hardie.

George Bailey has said that the tour’s sole focus is on the upcoming two World Cups.
