After Mumbai Indians’ 5-wicket win over the Delhi Capitals last Saturday, the RCB team went wild into their celebrations.
Everyone from Virat Kohli to skipper Faf du Plessis were present in their hotel and watching the game.
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s hopes were solely dependent on Mumbai Indians.
Jasprit Bumrah’s 3 wickets and Tim David’s 34 runs from 11 balls helped Mumbai to chase down 160 with ease against the Delhi Capitals.
When Ramandeep Singh hit the winning boundaries, everyone in the RCB unit jumped up with joy and happiness.
Firstly, Faf du Plessis thanked the Mumbai Indians and said that they wanted Mumbai to beat Delhi which they did.
Secondly, Virat Kohli, who was pumped up with emotions also said that it was an incredible celebration.
Thirdly, Glenn Maxwell just took the celebrations a step further and said while standing atop a table that RCB are just inches away from making history in this year’s IPL.
So, now Royal Challengers Bangalore will face the Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator on the 25th of May.
