It is KL Rahul up against Ravindra Jadeja in today’s match of the TATA IPL.
Both teams have lost their opening fixtures against Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans respectively.
For the Super Giants, Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni stepped up against the Titans and had a good partnership which ultimately wasn’t enough for LSG.
Dushmantha Chameera was also not used fully by Rahul in the previous match. Lucknow will now try to use him in today’s match against the much-experienced Chennai Super Kings.
Chennai Super Kings on the other hand gave a very poor outing in their first game, scoring 131. The only positive from that game was MS Dhoni’s half-century and Dwayne Bravo’s 3/20.
While Lucknow will be without the services of Jason Holder yet again, Chennai will be hoping for Moeen Ali’s return to the tournament today.
Both teams will now be vying for their first points in the tournament as they will face each other today at the Brabourne Stadium.
