It was a low scoring affair in today’s match of the TATA IPL.

Punjab Kings had a poor outing with the bat as Delhi Capitals wreaked havoc with their bowling although they are facing covid issues in their camp.

Delhi Capitals won the toss and put Punjab in to bat first.

Mayank Agarwal gave a good start to the Punjab Kings with the bat.

But, Shikhar Dhawan, Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone could not do further damage with the bat.

Jitesh Sharma played a firey inning of 32 from 23 balls.

The rest of the batsmen fell like a house of cards against the bowling attack of Delhi and thus their innings wrapped up at just 115.

It was a pretty easy chase for Delhi Capitals and they did it in style.

David Warner and Prithvi Shaw put the foundation of their innings right by scoring the maximum runs in the Powerplay overs.

Delhi lost only one wicket in their innings and Sarfaraz Khan and David Warner put things right for their team to give them a win by 9 wickets with 57 balls remaining.
