Delhi Capitals are once again back in form as they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 21 runs.

Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Mandeep Singh and Mitchell Marsh couldn’t do much to add to the scoreboard.

It was David Warner and Rovman Powell who set things right for the Capitals and remained not out till the end.

Delhi Capitals finished off with 207/3 in their 20 overs.

All the SRH bowlers went for runs and they paid the price heavily.

Sunrisers Hyderabad needed 208 runs to win the contest.

It was always going to be a stiff chase for the SRH batters and it proved to be one.

Openers Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson were out early.

The middle-order of Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran then played some contributory innings to keep SRH in the hunt for a win.

But, after they were gone it was just a house of cards for SRH as they quickly lost all their batsmen and managed to score only 186/8 in their 20 overs.

Delhi Capitals are now at 5th position in the points table where there is again a logjam of teams.
