Lucknow Super Giants did it yet again as they beat Punjab Kings in yesterday’s encounter.

Mayank Agarwal called it right at the toss and decided to bowl first.

Only two batters from LSG made contributory scores and they were Quinton de Kock and Deepak Hooda.

The rest of the Lucknow batters got out on single-digit scores with only small contributions from the tailenders at the fag end of the innings.

Lucknow Super Giants ended with a par total of 153/8 in their 20 overs.

The major wrecker with the ball for Punjab Kings was South African speedster Kagiso Rabada who took 4/38.

Even Rahul Chahar looked in fine form as he took 2/30 in his four overs.

The target for Punjab Kings was just 154 runs which was a gettable target.

In the second innings, Punjab had a slow start with Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan struggling to make runs.

Once Agarwal got the proper balls, then he decided to go bang on the Lucknow bowlers.

Agarwal was out for 25 with Shikhar Dhawan getting bowled for 5 by Ravi Bishnoi.

Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone and finally, Rishi Dhawan tried to win it for the Punjab Kings.

In the end, Punjab Kings lost the match by 20 runs.
