It was a close shave for the Sunrisers Hyderabad but they managed to defeat Mumbai Indians by 3 runs.

This win keeps the playoffs hope alive for SRH.

If we talk about the toss, then Rohit Sharma won it and sent Hyderabad to bat first.

Priyam Garg and Rahul Tripathi did a superb job with the bat along with Nicholas Pooran who smashed 38 off 22 balls.

Sunrisers Hyderabad ended up with 193/6 in their 20 overs.

Mumbai Indians required 194 runs to win the game and to dispel SRH from making it to the playoffs.

And MI had a great start with the bat as Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan helped themselves to boundaries at will.

Mumbai lost the plot in the middle overs but it was Tim David who resurrected them once again and hit massive boundaries off all SRH bowlers.

He, unfortunately, got run-out which caused Mumbai Indians to lose the game by 3 runs and kept SRH’s hopes alive for a playoffs berth.
