Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has released the teaser of her upcoming film Shabaash Mithu.
In the teaser, we can see Pannu in the role of India captain Mithali Raj.
It is a movie on the personal journey of Raj and will be hitting cinemas soon.
Mithali Raj is currently leading the India Women’s cricket team in the ICC Women’s World Cup where they have won 3 matches and lost 3.
If they win their last league match, they will be through to the semis of the tournament.
Raj has had many ups and downs in her cricketing career but has always led the team brilliantly. But, now there are rumours in the Indian camp that there are two groups.
One is in favour of Mithali Raj while the other is in favour of Harmanpreet Kaur.
Another movie on India Women cricket team is in the pipeline. It is the biopic of Jhulan Goswami titled Chakdah Express. Anushka Sharma is portraying the role of Goswami. Filming is underway and we may see it next year.
Let’s hope that Shabaash Mithu receives good acclaim from fans.
