PBKS defeated CSK by four wickets at Chepauk

Chennai Super Kings lost to Punjab Kings by four wickets despite scoring 200 runs in the first innings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Bangalore on April 30. This is 2nd consecutive loss of CSK. The Dhoni led side is missing its injured fast bowling resources.

Prabhsimran Singh and Liam Livingstone played significant knocks, but Matheesa Pathirana‘s brilliant bowling helped Chennai to restrict Punjab. However, Jitesh Sharma’s unbeaten 21 runs and Sikandar Raza’s calm approach in the final delivery led to a sensational win for Punjab. The victory moved Punjab to the fifth spot on the IPL Points Table, with ten points. While Chennai is currently in the fourth spot due to a better run rate, with ten points from nine matches.
