Tazmin Brits and Nonkululeko Mlaba receive maiden CSA central contracts

New players have been contracted by Cricket South Africa this year.

They are batter Tazmin Brits and spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba who have got their first-ever CSA central contracts.

These two players have come in place of just retired Mignon du Preez and Nadine de Klerk.

CSA CEO Pholetsi Moseki congratulated the two on securing their maiden contracts.

South Africa was one of the semifinalists in this year’s ICC Women’s World Cup.

South Africa Women have a packed calender this year.

They will firstly tour Ireland and England this summer where they will be playing 6 T20Is and 6 ODIs.

Afterwards, they will play a single Test match against England in Taunton.

Moseki wants South Africa women to constantly strive to be the best version of themselves.

Additionally, he also wants them to break barriers in every step of the game.

Moreover, he wants the women players to make a mark for themselves in international cricket.

The new South African Women contracted players are-

Tazmin Brits, Trisha Chetty, Lara Goodall, Shabnim Ismail, Sinalo Jafta, Marizanne Kapp, Ayabonga Khaka, Masabata Klaas, Lizelle Lee, Sune Luus, Nonkululeko Mlaba, Tumi Sekhukhune, Chole Tryon, Dane van Niekerk, Laura Wolvaardt.
