Gujarat Titans did it once again and secured their second win of the season against the Delhi Capitals yesterday.

It was Lockie Ferguson’s 4/28 off 4 overs that sealed the deal for Gujarat.

Delhi Capitals had won the toss and decided to bat first at Pune.

Titans did not have a great start with the bat as Matthew Wade was dismissed early on in the innings.

It was then Shubman Gill who took the onus upon himself to rebuild the Titans’ innings.

He was ably supported by skipper Hardik Pandya and then by David Miller who scored 31 and 20* respectively.

Rahul Tewatia smashed some lusty blows to the DC bowlers as well with Gujarat finishing off at 171/6 in their 20 overs.

Although the target looked par and Delhi would’ve chased it down quickly, it soon became a tall order for the DC batters.

Only Rishabh Pant played a substantial inning of 43 and Lalit Yadav was able to support him at the other end.

But a couple of risky runs cost Yadav his wicket.

After that, it was just a collapse for the Delhi Capitals as the Titans clinched their second game by 14 runs.
