Lockie Ferguson to captain New Zealand against Bangladesh

Lockie Ferguson is the captain of the New Zealand team for the Bangladesh tour ahead of World Cup.

The New Zealand fast bowler, Lockie Ferguson, will be leading a less experienced team in the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh. This series is schedule to start on September 21, right after the ongoing series against England.

Furthermore, the left-hander batsman Tom Latham who is leading the side in the absence of Kane Willaimson. He is also not playing the series.  Not only Latham, but the star players Devon Conway, Matt Henry, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, and Tim Southee are set to miss the Bangladesh series. However , Tim Southee has a injury to rehab before the World Cup. Trent Boult, who is not having the contract of New Zealand cricket is playing the series.

Head coach Gary Stead is given rest in this series.  Batting coach Luke Ronchi  will be the head coach along with captain Lockie Ferguson.
