Adil Rashid to submit name for IPL 2023 auction

After a brilliant win over Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup, England is on top of the world.

There were a string of excellent performances from all the players in both the batting and the bowling department.

Bowlers like Sam Curran, Adil Rashid, and Chris Jordan have been the stars for England in this tournament.

After this tournament, Rashid has decided to sign up for the mini-auction of the IPL and will be submitting his name soon for the same.

Speaking to a news agency, Rashid said,

Yes, I will be putting up my name in IPL auctions this time.

Rashid was also asked whether he has been in talks with any of the franchises but so far the spinner has responded in negative.

England reduced Pakistan to just 137/8 in 20 overs at the MCG and had to chase down only 138.

They did so after spending a difficult phase against Pakistan in the 19th over.

The hero of the chase for England was Ben Stokes whose 52 from 49 balls ensured his side that they are the winners of the trophy for the second time.

In the post-match interview, skipper Jos Buttler also praised Rashid for the improvement that the latter has shown.

Huge swing in the game, that was a fantastic over from Adil. He has been outstanding for us in the last three games, just the guy who makes things happen and his performance was outstanding. When you hit the right length there was a little bit of movement and they were obviously bowling at a good pace, not easy at all. We managed to get away to a start which controlled the run-rate and we bat deep as well.
