Former India fast bowler, Ashish Nehra in an interview, picked his bowling unit ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

This will be India’s chance to redeem themselves once again in Australia.

India did not have a pleasant T20 World Cup last year, losing important games to Pakistan and New Zealand.

Even after winning all of their last three matches, they crashed out of the tournament.

Interestingly, India could not pick up any Pakistani wicket and the Men in Green chased down the target comfortably with all of their 10 wickets in hand.

This was Pakistan’s first win over the Men in Blue in World Cup history.

India is currently facing off West Indies in a 3-match T20I series at home in which they have taken a 2-0 lead.

As per Ashish Nehra, Team India should have bowlers such as Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Prasidh Krishna and Deepak Chahar going into the T20 World Cup.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, however, did not find mention in Nehra’s list.

Bumrah and Shami already have their places cemented in the T20 World Cup squad.

Other pacers have time to make a mark for themselves before the marquee event.
