Australia will be feeling the heat against Pakistan in the white-ball series as many of their players are sick or injured.

In the latest news, Ashton Agar reported a Covid positive report just hours before the first ODI at Lahore.

Australia only have 13 players at their disposal to choose and form their playing XI for all three ODIs.

Earlier, Josh Inglis also contracted the virus. So, Agar and Inglis will remain in isolation from the rest of the team.

Adding salt to Australia’s injury is the unavailability of Mitchell Marsh who injured his hip flexor during training on Sunday.

He will not be available for the rest of the series.

The visitors have a very inexperienced side with them along with experienced players such as Josh Hazelwood, David Warner, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Pat Cummins.

Lahore is hosting the three-match ODI series between Australia and Pakistan.

The third ODI will be played on the 2nd of April.
