Cricket Australia has brought out the summer schedule for both their men’s and women’s teams this year.

In the men’s schedule, Australia will have a brief tour of India before the start of the T20 World Cup this year.

Australia will also be inviting West Indies and England for their home series.

After the T20 World Cup, Australia will be hosting England to play a 3-match T20I series after which they will play 2 back-to-back Tests against the West Indies and South Africa at November end.

For the women’s team, their first assignment is against Pakistan Women in January after which they leave for South Africa to play the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in February.

Meg Lanning and Co. will also be a part of the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham this year and will then depart to India in December.

Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley hoped that both men’s and women’s teams are able to defend their T20 World Cup titles in the next 12 months.
