New Zealand will be touring Scotland for two T20Is and a single ODI in the month of July, Scotland’s cricket board has confirmed.

Grange in Edinburgh will be hosting all three matches starting from July 27.

Shane Burger is excited to welcome the Blackcaps for the summer to play against Scotland.

He also said that he wants his team to face challenging oppositions so that they get good practice.

He also praised the Blackcaps saying that they are a very formidable unit in the shorter format of the game.

Burger also mentioned that Scotland will be having a busy 2022 as they have 12 international ODIs planned for them.

Gary Stead, New Zealand Head Coach said that Scotland has improved vastly as a cricketing nation.

Stead also mentioned his playing days and said that Scotland is very passionate about their cricket.

Finally, he said that having full members play against associate nations helps the game of cricket to grow further in a positive direction.
