Today is the second semifinal between India and England at the Adelaide Oval.

Both teams are preparing in full swing for the big game and there are a few injury scares also on either side.

For India, there were slight worries about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma getting hit in the net sessions.

Fortunately, the injuries are minor and both are available to play for India today.

But, for England, there looms an uncertainty as Mark Wood has become their latest casualty after Dawid Malan.

It is unsure whether Wood will be playing in the all-important match today or not.

Former Australian spinner, Brad Hogg is of the opinion that Mark Wood should be used against both Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav.

Both of these batters have been in brilliant form for India in the T20 World Cup.

Says Hogg,

England have got to have Wood bowling all four of his overs to Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. When he is bowling to Kohli, he needs to try and have a gap very square on the shorter side and try to get him to play squarer rather than playing in the V.

Adding further, Hogg said,

With his extra pace, the Adelaide pitch just skids a little more than the other surfaces. You might be able to get Kohli LBW or bowled when he is playing square.

When we talk about Wood, then he has been bowling his full quota of overs in the tournament. The speeds have been around 140 kmph.

Additionally, Wood has also clocked the fastest delivery of the tournament at 154.74 kph against New Zealand.
