Cameron Green speaks about his availability in the IPL

Cameron Green shook off all the false claims about him getting ruled out of the IPL due to a thumb injury. The tall Australian all-rounder was ruled out of the South Africa series due to a fracture to his thumb. There spread a rumor in the cricketing world that Green might be ruled out of the IPL due to the injury. Mumbai Indians have signed Green for a whopping price of 17.5 crores in the auction.

Green says

But the 23-year-old Western Australian rejected it and said that he is available for the whole season of the IPL.

“No, that’s [reports] not correct. I’ve heard about this for quite a while now I think. I don’t know where it’s come from. I’ve heard that I’m 100 percent available for both skill sets in the IPL at the start, so yeah, I’m not too sure where that’s kind of come from,”

Cameron Green told SEN Sportsday WA.

Talks about the price tag

“Yeah obviously it [auction] turned out really well but I think at the same time you want to go out there and perform and kind of re-pay the faith they showed you,”

Green said. 

Green speaks about his availability in the BGT

“Obviously my first priority is the Test Series that’s beforehand. I think me and Starcy (Mitchell Starc) are maybe touch and go for that first one but obviously, we’ll give ourselves the best chance,”

Green added.
