In recent reports, the Chennai Super Kings are in a state of confusion as to how much longer will MS Dhoni play for the franchise.
In a previous team event, the skipper had revealed that he wanted to play his last T20I at the Chepauk Stadium.
But, now he has not taken any call on his retirement from the IPL and will lead the CSK again this season.
Previously, there were rumours that MS Dhoni will not be leading the CSK for the 15th edition of the tournament. But, now they have been refuted.
Chennai Super Kings have been one of the most successful franchises under Dhoni. He was thus retained by them for INR 12 crores.
He has been good as a captain and has been excellent behind the stumps as well.
CSK marched on to win their fourth title last year after they beat Kolkata Knight Riders in a high-voltage clash at Dubai.
They will now face them again in the tournament opener at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
CSK wants Dhoni to play for a longer time for them and not to announce retirement at any point in time.
