Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was already there in the team. But the injury concerns are leaving sleepless nights for the team. Bumrah is out of the game itself for almost an year. Now its time to bid goodbye to Jofra Archer and welcome Chris Jordan back into the team.

England’s fast bowler Jofra Archer will not be able to play in the IPL this time due to injury. As his replacement, Rohit has taken another strong bowler from England, Chris Jordan. Jordan joined the Mumbai camp on April 30. At that time, the IPL franchise did not inform who he was replaced by. However, Archer was suffering from fitness problems and there were speculations among cricket lovers. Mumbai Indians put an end to that speculation on Tuesday. Archer is going back to England for treatment. Notably, Archer and Jordan both played for Cheteshwar Pujara’s Sussex. In that sense, the Rohits broke the Pujara team.

Jordan’s price in the auction was 2 crore rupees. But he remained unsold. Jordan has experience playing in the IPL. He has previously played for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings. 34-year-old Jordan has taken 27 wickets in IPL. Last year he was in Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s team.
