Cricket West Indies confirms India tour in July-August

India are all set to tour the Caribbean in the month of July as confirmed by CWI.

The series will comprise 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is that will be played all over West Indies and even the United States.

Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad will host the ODIs starting from July 22.

The T20I series is all set to commence on the 29th of July.

The first match of the series will be played at the newly constructed Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

The tour will conclude at Lauderhill, Florida where India will play the last two T20Is of the series.

Apart from India, Bangladesh and New Zealand will also tour West Indies.

Johnny Grave, CEO of Cricket West Indies confirmed the news of the India tour of West Indies.

West Indies now have a packed calendar for the next three months.

In January this year, West Indies hosted Ireland and England for a white-ball series.

Subsequently, they hosted the ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup in which 16 teams took part and India emerged as the winners.

After this, West Indies once again welcomed England for a Test series that the hosts won.

In the current situation, West Indies are touring the Netherlands after which they will depart for Pakistan to play 3 ODIs.

The future Tests of the West Indies will come under the World Test Championship cycle and the 9 ODIs will come under the Super League.

West Indies are currently at No.10 in the points table of the Super League.
