In the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, New Zealand have become the first team to qualify for the semifinals.

This comes as a shock for India and Indian fans because this means that they might be facing the Blackcaps.

Additionally, skipper Kane Williamson’s form is also a worrying thing for India as they will very soon be touring New Zealand for T20Is and ODIs.

This series is scheduled to start right after the T20 World Cup and will be streamed live on Amazon Prime Video.

Williamson has brought calmness to the side after his brilliant run of form with the bat and this proves his immense role as captain and player for New Zealand.

Former Kiwi cricketer and now commentator, Danny Morrison praised Williamson for his calmness and consistency.

Williamson was also the sole hero for his side in the game against Ireland that made sure that New Zealand remained on top of the points table in their group.

On the other hand, Kiwi speedster Tim Southee also commented on the variety of bowlers that they have in their bowling unit.

He was all praises for Lockie Ferguson who has been bowling pretty well in the T20 World Cup.

Southee is also the leading wicket-taker in T20Is with 129 wickets in 103 games.

Ferguson was the star of the show against Ireland as he picked up three wickets for 22 runs from his four overs.

This ensured that Ireland never could make a comeback in the match.
