IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Dinesh Karthik are preparing well for the upcoming IPL season.
The tournament is now just some months away and the franchise is leaving no stone unturned in its preparations.
While only a few players are present for the franchise at the moment, they are pretty fired up for the 2023 season.
Under the expert supervision of Malolan Rangarajan and Sridharan Sriram, the youngsters and experienced players are all doing well.
On the other hand, RCB’s most experienced player, Dinesh Karthik has talked about the youngsters that the franchise has purchased from the mini-auction.
During RCB’s show, RCB Bold Diaries, Karthik has already let the fans know about he is preparing for the upcoming season.
Now in the show’s next episode, he has talked about RCB’s two new pacers, Avinash Singh and Himanshu Sharma.
Karthik has stated that Avinash Singh is an exciting young prospect for RCB and he is all ready to fire in the 2023 season.
Karthik speaks highly of Avinash Singh in his interview
Says Karthik on Avinash,
I think he is somebody who has a very different bowling action. He also has a nice run-up. From the way he has built that power, it is a very important part of his body. The speed comes to him naturally. He has a very different action. His release point is slightly different from others. Avinash is a very interesting prospect. He is very raw, very young, he is learning everyday as to how he can keep on getting better at his job.
RCB spotted Avinash Singh when they visited Hinterland Scouting and decided to pick him up for the 2023 season.
On the other hand, Avinash has also spoken very positively about his experienced teammate in an interview,
As you all know that he is one of the best batters of the world. It’s my pleasure to bowl at him and I have been learning so many things from him. It was a fabulous experience playing with him.
Karthik was in red-hot form for RCB during the 2022 season and from there, he was picked up by the Indian team for some series both home and away.
Another youngster, Himanshu Sharma has also added his thoughts on Dinesh Karthik.
He is a world class batter. He has lots of experience. To bowl at him is very difficult. However, it is excellent for learning.
