Dravid encounters health issue; return to Indian dressing room doubtful

India head coach, Rahul Dravid has incurred a health issue after the second ODI between Sri Lanka and India.

Reportedly, he has flown back to his hometown of Bengaluru and his return remains doubtful for the third ODI.

Additionally, it is also known that Dravid felt a bit uneasy at the team hotel and took his medicines when his blood pressure shot up.

Also, recently, Dravid celebrated his 50th birthday with the team before the second ODI at Kolkata on 11th January.

On the other hand, many of India’s and Sri Lanka’s support staff and players did not get much recovery time because of playing the first ODI just a day before.

Team India is on the verge of a clean sweep in the ODI series

Meanwhile, India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka and will look to clean-sweep them.

In the second ODI, India beat Sri Lanka by four wickets to ensure this lead.

KL Rahul played a great knock of 64* and finished the game for India in the 44th over of the match.

For some time now, Rahul has been struggling quite a bit with his form in white-ball cricket.

On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav also bagged three wickets in this match.

Kuldeep received Player of the Match for his three wickets in the second ODI.

Kuldeep had been drafted in place of Yuzvendra Chahal who was facing some issues with his right shoulder.

Additionally, everyone will be hoping that Chahal returns to the team for the third ODI.

So, India and Sri Lanka will look to entertain fans at Trivandrum with an outstanding game of cricket.

For India, they will look for a clean sweep while Sri Lanka will look to better their fortunes in this dead rubber contest.
