It was quite a record-making and breaking day today in first England vs Pakistan Test match.

For England, this is quite a great start which they could have hoped for in a Test match.

From the first over itself, England started garnering records as Zak Crawley hit 14 runs.

This is now the most ever runs hit by an England player in the opening over of a Test match.

In just 83 balls, England reached a total of 100 runs which again is a new record for the visitors.

In the first 20 overs of the match, England hooked up a total of 141 without losing a wicket.

This total has now bested Pakistan’s T20 World Cup final total of 137/8 which they lost to England recently.

Apart from this, Zak Crawley added another feather to his cap after smashing a ton in just 86 balls.

Harry Brook then pushed down Crawley quickly to record a ton in just 80 balls.

Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope also enjoyed their share in the match as they also hit centuries that now makes it four hundreds in a single innings for England and there are still six wickets in hand.

By the end of today’s play, skipper Ben Stokes hit 34 runs from 15 balls that took England to a massive score of 506/4 which is the highest score on an opening day of a Test match.

Additionally, England has now also become the fastest team to reach a score of 500 runs in a Test match.

The Bazball effect is showing itself truly as of now.
