Former India and current Chennai Super Kings skipper, MS Dhoni has been a fan favorite over the past many years.
Additionally, he is the only Indian skipper to have won all major ICC trophies and also 5 titles for CSK.
This year, he defeated last year’s winners, Gujarat Titans to give his side a record-equalling 5th title in the IPL.
While Dhoni’s fortunes may have taken a huge leap in recent years, it was not so during the 2012 season of the IPL.
Recently, former IPL President, Lalit Modi shared an old document that was sent to Dhoni by India Cements.
In the document, it is stated that Dhoni was appointed as the Vice-President of the company for an amount of Rs. 43,000.
Moreover, this document has now shocked all of Dhoni’s fans as well and Modi has also shared this document on his Instagram handle.
Writes Modi,
It seems only in #india #contempt after contempt continues by the #old #guards of @bcci- How? My best guess is #northblock. But most #puzzling is this #employment #contract of #MSD- Why? he earns 100s of crores a year will he #agree to be #SRINI’S #employee. bet there are many such contracts.
Dhoni hints at returning to IPL 2024 if his body allows it
Meanwhile, there were a lot of speculations regarding this year being Dhoni’s last IPL season for CSK.
However, MSD has given a subtle hint that he may return next year as a gift for the fans if his body allows him to play.
But, Dhoni still has to make that decision on whether he wants to play next year or not. Furthermore, CSK will look to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season by participating in the mini-auction in December.
