Today started the Test series between India and Bangladesh where India ended the day on 278/6.
However, skipper KL Rahul faced the heat of the fans after getting dismissed cheaply in the first innings.
Rahul was bowled by Khaled Ahmed as he tried to get aggressive in his run-making.
Along with Shubman Gill, Rahul was successful in stitching together a partnership of 41 runs for the first wicket.
India won the toss today and elected to bat first at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Khaled Ahmed was on cloud nine after dismissing Rahul and Bangladesh got their first breakthrough of the innings.
Rahul was seen punching his bat in anger as he was leaving the field after making only 22 from 54 balls.
Rahul has been made skipper in the absence of regular captain Rohit Sharma who is out of the series with a dislocated thumb.
Fans have not taken this dismissal very happily and instead are demanding the removal of Rahul from India’s squad.
They have further stated that Rahul should not even captain India in any format of the game.

Dear Rahul, you have forgotten to play straight and that’s why you get out in a similar pattern. You better take a break and again see the videos of Rahul Dravid, how he used to play straight with patience. Think it over.
Another fan has commented that Rahul is a spineless, shameless cricketer.
One more comment reads,
This is your new brand of cricket @klrahul @bcci? Play cricket, don’t parade. And talk less, work more! We are not England in Test cricket!
Still another fan writes,
I think KL Rahul is going to be the first captain to lose a test match against Bangladesh. #INDVSBAN Anything is possible when your leader himself is the greatest scam of Team India. Aur dikhao trust.
