West Indies’ senior fast bowler Fidel Edwards recently picked his all-time playing XI that features only a single Indian.

He has majorly picked up West Indians in his team while three Australians and one player each from India, South Africa and Pakistan have featured in his list.

For openers, Edwards picked up Chris Gayle and Matthew Hayden. Both these openers were deadly during their prime years.

After that comes Sachin Tendulkar at No.3. Without Tendulkar, the sport of cricket remains barren.

After Tendulkar, Brian Lara comes in at No.4 on the list.

Sir Gary Sobers and Jacques Kallis come in at 5 and 6.

Shane Warne is the only spinner chosen by Edwards in the team.

Apart from this, he has picked Glenn McGrath, Wasim Akram, Curtley Ambrose and Malcolm Marshall in the team.

Fidel Edwards has represented West Indies in all three formats of the game. He has taken 165 wickets in Tests, 60 wickets in ODIs and 20 wickets in T20Is.

Lately, he is not being considered by the West Indies selection committee because of his loss of form in bowling.
