Moreover, this is a very heartwarming and exciting update for all the fans of the Titans who will be seen in full support at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Gujarat Titans suffers defeat at the hands of Mumbai Indians

On the other hand, in their latest fixture, Gujarat Titans got a loss of 27 runs against 5-time champions, Mumbai Indians.

Batting first, MI posted a huge target of 218 and asked GT to chase down 219. It was Suryakumar’s power-hitting that enabled Mumbai to post a stiff total.

However, the visitors could not get going in the manner that they have always done this season. Wickets fell at regular intervals for them.

But, it was the sheer brilliance of Rashid Khan that got them close to the target. He hit 10 sixes and 3 fours in his innings.

Meanwhile, Surya hit 6 sixes and 11 boundaries in his innings of 103* from 49 balls at a strike rate of 210.20.

On the other hand, Rashid Khan’s strike rate in the second innings was a jaw-dropping 246.87 as he made 79 from 32 balls.

While Gujarat Titans are sitting at the top of the points table, they are now feeling the heat from Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.

Therefore, they will now look to win their remaining two fixtures and gain maximum points and secure a spot for the playoffs.
