Former India spinner, Harbhajan Singh has lavishly praised Rajasthan Royals’ skipper, Sanju Samson, and has compared him to MS Dhoni.
According to Harbhajan, Samson has the same temperament as Dhoni and has faith in his abilities.
Furthermore, in the game against Gujarat Titans, Samson took things into his own hands.
Leading from the front, he smashed 60 runs from 32 balls, and then Shimron Hetmyer made 56 from 26 balls to guide the Royals home.
Says Harbhajan on Samson,
We’ve seen another captain’s knock from Sanju. I have said in the past and still believe that he should be a regular feature in the Indian national side (in white ball format). He plays spinners and fast bowlers with equal ease. He knows how to absorb pressure and is a strong-willed player. He has faith in his abilities, just like MS Dhoni.
Finally, on their third try, Rajasthan Royals were able to defeat defending champions, Gujarat Titans.
Rajasthan looking confident against Lucknow Super Giants in today’s game
In today’s clash of the IPL, it is Rajasthan Royals up against the Lucknow Super Giants at Jaipur.
