India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has joined the National Cricket Academy to train for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.

He will undergo training at the camp for a few days before he joins the Gujarat Titans.

The ongoing camp will end today and was devised by Rahul Dravid.

The camp is for white-ball players to assess their levels of fitness before the marquee event.

The addition of Pandya means that Dravid and team management still want Pandya to perform in the World Cup.

After the completion of the camp, most of the players will be joining their respective IPL teams but Pandya will remain at the facility and train alongside Mumbai Indians Suryakumar Yadav and a few others.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings are yet to receive a full report on Deepak Chahar’s fitness and are not yet ready as of now to make any changes or replacements for him.
