After guiding his team Gujarat Titans to their maiden title yesterday, Hardik Pandya has stated his next goal.

In the post-match presentation, Pandya revealed that his short and long-term goal is to win a World Cup for India.

Pandya came back stronger in this season of the IPL after suffering from injuries from the past 2 seasons.

He further stated that he will give it his all to bring back a cup for the country next.

Pandya added that he always feels proud to represent India no matter how many games he has played till now.

He has now won 5 IPL titles, four with Mumbai Indians and now as the captain of Gujarat Titans.

He acknowledged all 5 titles and said that all are very special for him.

When we look at Pandya’s performance, then we can see that he performs better in the IPL but not in global events.

He played crucial parts in 2016, 2017 and 2019 ICC events but India failed to lift any trophy.

Hardik said that winning the IPL is always special for him.

Hardik as captain in this year’s IPL has led from the front with the bat and also bowled brilliantly.

He gave credit to Ashish Nehra who has helped Gujarat lift their maiden title of the season.
