Mohammad Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan made a serious complaint in the Supreme Court this time. He claimed that while playing cricket for the Indian team, Shami used to spend the night with sex workers in the hotel. It is alleged that after marriage, torture was also used to demand dowry. Hasin first complained against Shami in 2018. They live separately now.
Hasin first complained to the Jadavpur police station in 2018. He accused Shami of domestic violence. The Indian pacer, however, denied all the allegations. Hasin accused Shami of match fixing. The anti-corruption wing of the board ruled in favor of Shami. They informed that Shami is not involved in any match fixing. Hasin alleged that Shami demanded dowry.
Supreme Court says, Hasin complained of asking dowry on Shami
Hasin used to model once. She also worked as a cheerleader in IPL. She alleged that even after marriage, Shami used to have relations with other girls in the hotel while playing for the Indian team. Hasin’s complaint in the Supreme Court said,
“Shami used to demand dowry from his wife. While playing for the board, he got involved with sex workers. Shami still does that.”
Hasin also revealed a phone number of the Indian pacer. Shami was in contact with sex workers from that phone.
The Alipore District and Sessions Court ordered Shami to pay Rs 50,000 monthly to his wife Hasin. The court gave this order in the domestic violence case against Shami. Although Hasin demanded Rs 10 lakh from Shamir every month. As a result, the wife of the star cricketer of the Indian team was naturally not happy with this verdict.
