Hayley Matthews and Mithali Raj move up in ICC rankings

In the recent ICC rankings for women, West Indies’ Hayley Matthews has notched herself at sixth position in the ICC women’s ODI rankings for all-rounders.

Matthews moved two spots up in the table after her stellar performance with both bat and ball. With the ball, she took 4 wickets with an average of 3.78, while with the bat she made 51 runs off 63 balls in the first ODI against South Africa women that was hit by rain.

She also made it to 11th place on the bowlers’ list with a rating of 587 which is the highest of her career so far. Deepti Sharma, India’s all-rounder also made her name in the all-rounders’ list as she bagged the fourth spot. Mithali Raj moved to second position in the batters’ list and has a rating of 738 and is behind Australia’s Alyssa Healy (750).

Raj’s teammate, Smriti Mandhana is also on the list but she maintained her sixth position with 710 rating points. The bowling list is led by Australia’s Jess Jonassen while England’s Natalie Sciver is leading the all-rounders’ list.
