Greg Barclay and Geoff Allardice have come down to India to discuss ICC rights.

BCCI extended a warm welcome and invitation to both Barclay and Allardice to witness the playoffs and final of the IPL.

They have already witnessed the playoffs and will now be watching the final of the IPL on 29th May.

After the IPL, they will most likely discuss the ICC rights tender for the 2024-31 cycle of world cricket.

The tender is set to be released right after BCCI completes the media bidding process in mid-June.

Champions Trophy 2025 is the major issue concerning everyone’s mind.

ICC has given the hosting rights to Pakistan but India is not ready to go to Pakistan.

Recently, BCCI has chosen Mjunction to host the bidding process of the IPL media rights tender.

Mjunction, a JV of Sail and TATA Steels will be conducting a workshop, training sessions for the parties and a mock-auction before the main event.

This will help the BCCI to look out for eligible bidders to the IPL rights.

It will be a 2-day event wherein Packages A, B, C and D will be auctioned off on 2 days.
