Former India player, Wasim Jaffer has chosen his top 5 bowlers for this year’s ICC T20 World Cup.
Team India’s unsatisfactory performance in last year’s T20 World Cup has given the selectors a lot of headaches.
Thus, they will now be looking at all the players’ performances in the ongoing IPL 2022.
According to Jaffer, the selectors should firstly pick Jasprit Bumrah, followed by Harshal Patel and then Deepak Chahar.
If not, then Jaffer has called on the services of Mohammed Shami and then went on to select T Natarajan.
Finally, he kept an open choice between Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Prasidh Krishna.
Jaffer also commented that Shardul Thakur may not find it easy making his way into the playing XI.
The final five bowlers whom Wasim Jaffer has picked are T Natarajan, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Harshal Patel and Deepak Chahar.
All of these 5 bowlers have different abilities and skill sets of their own.
The only question mark for Team India remains whether or not Deepak Chahar will make it on time for the tournament in October.
