ICC

International Cricket Council (ICC) majorly messed up a social media post. ICC put up a Twitter post for India vs Bangladesh’s 2nd ODI.

India lost to Bangladesh in yet another thriller game. The second ODI was do or die for the visitors. They were in the driver’s seat after sending 6 Bangladeshi batters back into the hut under 70 odd runs. However, India lost track and leaked a whole lot of runs. Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan put up a partnership of 150 runs and got Bangladesh to a fighting total.

Rohit Sharma did not come out to open as he suffered a blow to his thumb in the field. Virat took his place but failed to deliver. The middle order shattered within no time and India was left stranded. Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel stabilized the innings but lost their wickets at the wrong time. Skipper, Rohit Sharma came out to bat with a broken thumb and almost got the team home with a blistering inning of 51 of 28 balls. However, India ultimately fell short by 5 runs.
