ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is now just a few days away

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is just six days away and all 10 teams are preparing themselves.

This time, it is going to be the senior women who will battle it out for the T20 World Cup.

Already, India’s U19 women have lifted the inaugural U19 T20 World Cup trophy in South Africa.

Furthermore, in the senior T20 World Cup, 10 teams will face each other over a period of a fortnight.

Additionally, in the opening match, it will be hosts South Africa who will be clashing with Sri Lanka.

Also, all 10 teams have been split into two groups, A and B. Group A, is Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Furthermore, Group B, is England, India, Pakistan, West Indies, and Ireland. The top two teams from both groups will go to the semifinals.

Furthermore, the ICC has announced three venues for this tournament which are Cape Town, Gqeberha, and Paarl.

Also, this is the first time that an ICC event is being hosted on African soil. Also, this is also the first senior event of the ICC since 2007 which is being hosted by South Africa.

Moreover, Australia is the current T20 World Cup champ and will look to retain their trophy one more time.

Also, they are the No.1 team in the Women’s T20I Team Rankings and already are in good shape.

Additionally, australia won a series 2-0 against Pakistan and looks favorite to win the title once again.

Moreover, India on the other hand is being led by Harmanpreet Kaur and will have to bounce back strongly.
