BCCI has finalized the schedule of the India vs Sri Lanka series with venues and dates.

The series will start off with the T20I series of which the first one will be played at Lucknow while the second and third will be hosted at Dharamsala.

The dates of the T20s are February 24, 26 and 27.

The 2-match Test series will be played at Mohali and Bengaluru. The dates of these matches are March 4 and March 12 respectively.

This has been done by the BCCI at the request of SLC so that the visitors will be safely inducted into the bio-bubble for the T20I series.

Sri Lanka are currently playing a T20I series against Australia at the latter’s home and will directly arrive to play T20Is against India just four days before the first T20I.

The tour will end at Bengaluru that will allow the visitors to catch a direct flight to Colombo.

This will also be India’s third pink-ball Test at home.

Previously, they hosted Bangladesh in 2019 and then England in 2021.

In other news, Rohit Sharma was declared as India’s Test skipper.

The official announcement will be made next week
