In the latest updated ICC Test rankings, India have slipped to the second position although they did a clean-sweep of Sri Lanka in the recently concluded Test series.

This is because Australia have drawn the second Test match against Pakistan and have secured 119 points, one more than India’s tally of 118.

Rohit Sharma and Co did a fantastic job in both the Tests, finishing the games in 3 days.

But, it was always a possibility that Australia might topple India if they manage to beat Pakistan in the second Test.

Although not a win for the Aussies, a draw surely helped them to gain much-needed points to secure the top spot.

New Zealand have recently drawn a Test series against South Africa at home at 1-1 and occupy 3rd position in the table.

Next on the table are England, South Africa and Pakistan. Sri Lanka is languishing at seventh after their 2-0 loss to India in the series.

West Indies are 8th on the table but have a great opportunity to outshine England to climb up in the ICC Test rankings.

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe are ninth and tenth on the table.
