Krishnakumar Kunnath or KK as he was popularly known among fans, passed away yesterday.

This was rather unbelievable news as people from the music industry and Bollywood poured in with tributes for the late singer.

KK was feeling unwell since yesterday and left the concert venue after complaining of uneasiness.

At the hotel, he vomited after which he collapsed in his room.

KK was one of the most versatile singers in the music industry.

He has sung songs such as Khuda Jaane, Alvida, Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai, and Ajab Si among many others.

KK shot to fame with his debut album Pal released in 1999.

Doctors have listed a massive heart attack as the cause of KK’s death.

Today, all cricketers whether former or current have paid rich tributes to the passing away of the singer.

Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Krunal Pandya as well as Anil Kumble, VVS Laxman, and Yuvraj Singh wrote heartfelt messages for his family.

KK sang a song to support and cheer the Indian team during the 1999 ICC World Cup held in England.

The song, Josh of India featured cricket stars like Mohammed Azharuddin, Robin Singh and Nikhil Chopra.

India had a rather poor outing in the 1999 World Cup as they won only a single match in the Super Six and failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.
