As the T20 and the 50-over World Cup is approaching at a fast pace, Indian players are gearing themselves up for the marquee events.

Currently, 25 players are undergoing this camp along with players who are undergoing rehabilitation.

Some of the players have also arrived from the domestic circuit after completing the league phase of the Ranji Trophy.

This will help in assessing where the player needs to work upon more and how are they handling the workload.

Rahul Dravid has devised this camp with support from both the Indian team management as well as NCA’s VVS Laxman.

The fitness drills in this camp involve standing long jump, 2-kilometre time trial, yo-yo test and Dexa body scan that will ensure the player’s fitness.

The IPL is all set to start on March 26 and end on May 29 this year.

With all the collected data from this camp, players will be able to check their fitness before the tournament and after the tournament.
