The Australian duo of Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa were some of the names who went unsold in the IPL Mega Auction.

Kane Richardson was not so much upset regarding himself as he was for Zampa.

He felt that their leaving the tournament early was the reason why they didn’t get picked up by any franchise.

Richardson was quick to defer his own statement saying it is all just an assumption on his part.

Richardson also revealed that their first priority was to reach Australia safely and that IPL was not too much on their minds.

Both Zampa and Richardson were part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in last year’s IPL.

They didn’t play much however and were the first ones to drop out of the tournament.

Richardson also said that he didn’t attend IPL 2020 because he was welcoming his baby and was not available for selection.

He feels that the last two IPLs were pretty tough for him.

On the other hand, Zampa has been a brilliant spinner for Australia and has the ability to trick batsmen with his spin.

But, he has not been given many chances that he deserved and is thus losing his spot in the national team.

However, Zampa remains unfazed and continues to put in hard work in his bowling.
