IPL 2022: BCCI gives out instructions to all teams to start coming to Mumbai from the 8th of March

In recent news of the IPL, BCCI has issued instructions for all 10 teams to start coming to Mumbai so that they can quarantine appropriately.

For Indian players, the quarantine phase will be of 3 days while for the foreign players, it will be 5 days.

The RT-PCR testing for Indian players will take place on all 3 days.

For foreign players, the testing will take place on the 1st, 3rd and 5th days.

Players will be able to take part in training sessions once their reports turn out negative.

The teams can start practising on March 14-15.

All coaching and support staff will also arrive in Mumbai by the 8th of March.

The tournament will be held completely in Maharastra as far as the league stage is concerned.

Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, DY Patil Stadium and Brabourne Stadium and Pune’s MCA International Stadium will host the league matches.

Maharashtra government and the BCCI had a meeting on the 2nd of March to finalize the details of the tournament.
