IPL 2022: Deepak Chahar to be available for CSK by mid-April

As per the latest reports, star Chennai Super Kings bowler, Deepak Chahar will most likely be available for the tournament from mid-April.

Chahar, who had suffered a quadricep tear in the final T20I against the West Indies will not require surgery and would be attaining fitness in a short while.

He is also under an eight-week rehab programme at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

Previously, it was reported that Chahar may have to undergo surgery but the pacer refused.

He is also eyeing a place in this year’s T20 World Cup which will be played in Australia.

The Chennai Super Kings have landed in Surat and have started their preparatory camp.

They are expecting Deepak Chahar to join them in the next couple of weeks at the camp.

They will monitor the pacer’s fitness levels for the IPL.

In other news for CSK, Ireland’s Josh Little is all set to make his debut as a net bowler. Cricket Ireland congratulated the bowler and wished him all success as well.
