It is two new captains for PBKS and RCB. Mayank Agarwal is up against experienced IPL campaigner Faf du Plessis.
Punjab Kings have built up a pretty strong team this season. They retained only 2 players, bought five of their original players back and bid farewell to 17.
While Rahul had concerns as captain of PBKS, Mayank will not be dealing with such issues in this season.
RCB on the other hand will have to run without the likes of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli as captain when they will face the daunting Punjab Kings who have the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Liam Livingstone and Odean Smith.
Faf will have a huge responsibility to revamp the RCB side as captain for this season. The other gaping hole for RCB is the unavailability of Glenn Maxwell.
Josh Hazelwood too will join them late in the season when he finishes his ongoing tour against Pakistan.
This fixture will be an interesting one to watch.
