Tom Moody certainly showed displeasure with the way his team performed against the Rajasthan Royals.

Moody said that a lot of extras cost them the game right at the beginning.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umran Malik gave away free no-balls to both Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Moody said that giving away this many extras in the shortest format of the game is highly unacceptable.

He was particularly displeased at the way Jos Buttler was given a lifeline all because of a no-ball as a result of which he continued to bat in superb form.

Sunrisers in the second innings too didn’t perform well with captain Kane Williamson edging Prasidh Krishna’s delivery.

It wasn’t a straightforward catch though as it first touched a tad bit of Sanju Samson’s glove after which Devdutt Paddikal caught it at first slip.

But when the umpires sent it for review, it was seen that the ball had bounced just a little bit in front of Paddikal.

But K Ananthapadmanabhan gave the verdict as out which according to Moody was incorrect.

He said that as soon as the umpires sent the catch for review and when the result came out they straightaway knew that it was not out.

The only bright spots for SRH was the batting of Aiden Markram and Washington Sundar.

While Markram remained unbeaten on 57 off 41 deliveries, Sundar came in at No. 8 and played a rather quickfire inning of 40 off 14 balls.

But it wasn’t enough as Sunrisers Hyderabad lost the match by 61 runs.
