Pat Cummins will not be around for Kolkata Knight Riders for the remaining season of the IPL.

He sustained this injury when playing against Mumbai Indians.

The nature of the injury is such that Cummins will take time to recover.

Cummins has already left the KKR bubble and will undergo rehabilitation in Sydney, so as to make a full recovery.

Pat Cummins has also been rested from the T20I series against Sri Lanka.

He thanked everyone at the Kolkata Knight Riders camp who took care of him and his family. He also went on to wish the other players the best of luck and added that he will be watching the games and cheering on.

Kolkata Knight Riders have only a single fixture remaining in the league phase against the Lucknow Super Giants on the 18th of May.

They have thus decided not to call upon any replacement for Pat Cummins.
