Post Match Reactions

Rishabh Pant, Delhi Capitals skipper said that CSK was brilliant in all departments and now they will look only forward as they have three games remaining. He said that if they win those three, they still have a shot at qualifying for the playoffs. Mentioned that there are covid cases in their camp but that is not an excuse and they will have a chat in the dressing room about being positive and having a good mindset for the rest of the games.

MS Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings captain said that everyone did their jobs well. Mentioned that runs on the board always help. Praised both Simarjeet Singh and Mukesh Choudhary and said that both have now matured a bit after playing in the tournament. On his batting, he said that he doesn’t look to go hard right from the start, only when there are around 12-13 balls left in the innings does he start to hit hard. On being asked whether they still have a chance to qualify, Dhoni said that he is not a big fan of maths and he wants the team to enjoy the rest of the season and not worry much about NRR. If they manage to qualify, it is good and if not, then they will prepare well for the next season.
